Life is a temporary Assignment
“We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18, NIV)
Life is a temporary Assignment
Do not become attached to this world or conform to it’s values because our true identity will be found in eternity, and our final destination is heaven. If we submit to this promise, we are set free from worrying about having it all on earth. You see life on earth is very brief and the bible talks about it only being a temporary assignment. When we live with this on our conscious, we’ll be more motivated to calibrate our priorities, adjust some of our current lifestyle choices for the better, and our faith will challenge us to adopt new values.
I pray this scripture over myself daily and hold onto this promise for dear life because I believe there is greatness placed inside us all. For me God has answered this prayer by simplifying my life & refocusing my passion onto things that actually mattered. Previous highlighted aspirations such such as money, success, and recognition quickly lost their vigor and zeal.
When my eyes are fixed on what is unseen my subconscious is fed with noble truths & rich promises that welcome God perfect peace into my life. I have felt an incredible sense of freedom and weight lifted off my shoulders since I sharpened my focused & attention onto God’s promises. God continues to manifest and add color to all of the relationships in my life, while simultaneously transforming my heart. Nothing is greater then experiencing the joy God has paced inside of us all. This joy is not manufactured through material abundance or career success. We all have this longing and desire & must pursue it above all else.
Todays Prayer:
My prayer today is that our minds will be well feed with external promises & that we accept that this is not our final home without fear but rather perfect love. I pray Lord that you will positively impact the way we live & guide us into our full destiny you have for us on earth. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
Love you guys,
Frank Molinaro
